Restoration Ruins - New Life for Old Ruins

This is a very topical issue which affects most of the castles and restoration problems related to them. Many castles, although ruins, of course can be recovered with new functions. The restoration begins with the assignment of the new functions that will allow the monument to obtain the necessary funding to carry out the restoration works and for the continued operation of the structure.

Private property. - A preliminary intervention of consolidation of a building located in an urban centre in a mountain setting is documented. It is a building having a considerable height in relation to the characteristics that distinguish the walls: ashlars masonry tied with mortar of poor tenacity. The low resistance of the ground caused a slip down of the building. In this first batch it was necessary a total chaining of the building.
