Villa De Brandis

San Giovanni Al Natisone (UD) XVIII Century

Commissioned by the City of San Giovanni al Natisone (UD). - A long stretch of a wall of a neo-Gothic garden was in poor conservative conditions, partially collapsed and partially rebuilt with material extraneous to the local tradition. A conservative restoration was implemented by removing non-original parts and by rebuilding, with seismic criteria, the missing parts. Inside the villa a conservative intervention was performed on the ancient floors consisting of an original “Venetian terrazzo”.
