Mostly wall traces that have lost their architectural connotation to take the one of the archaeological site.Often for their survival the archeological evidences need new structural works, such as roofing or descriptive panels that explain the original function. The creation of new structures to protect the old ones, which would not hold up to weather, creates a new problem of interpretation and of architectural language: it is preferable that the new covers simulate the old ones destroyed or, on the contrary, that they denounce their strangeness?
Commissioned by the City of Filattiera (MS). - It is a small necropolis made of Ligurian case tombs but of great interest for the peculiarity of the discovery: a wall of the case tomb consisted of a stele statue. The provisional intervention included the creation of a resin mold, the hydrogeological system, with the preparation of a drainage sector and the creation of a facing for visitors.
